چکیده
Mosquito-borne diseases are illnesses caused by the transmission of viruses, parasites, and protozoa to humans mosquito vectors. Mosquitoes spread various diseases, including, dengue fever, malaria, chikungunya, West Nile Zika yellow fever. Bacterial DNA cellular proteins were shown help produce AgNPs, with bacterial acting as a stabilising agent both reducing agent. As result, lysate, which contains lot proteins, could in creation AgNPs that larvicidal against larvae. Therefore, this work was aimed study effect synthesized Bacillus cereus VCRC 641 cell lysate. The present demonstrates efficacy silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) produced diseases-causing mosquitoes Aedes aegypti, Culex quinquefasciatus, Anopheles stephensi. Silver nano particles using enhance its mosquitocidal efficacy. level toxicity B. increased 117 fold comparison

Larvicidal activity of leaf extract of Millingtonia hortensis (Family: Bignoniaceae) against Anopheles stephensi, Culex quinquefasciatus and Aedes aegypti.
Mosquitoes are the principal vectors of malaria and other vector borne diseases and contribute to major disease burden in India. Disease transmission can be interrupted by controlling the vectors using various methods. However, the extensive and unbalanced use of chemical insecticides have created problems like enhancing resistance of mosquito population to synthetic insecticides, pollution of ...

Efficacy of 25 essential oils was screened against filarial vector, Culex quinquefasciatus, for their larvicidal and knockdown effects in a preliminary study. Of these, 8 oils viz. calamus oil, cinnamon oil, citronella oil, clove oil, eucalyptus oil, lemon oil, mentha oil and orange oil exhibited 100% larvicidal activity at 1000 ppm and 100% knockdown effect at 10% concentration. These 8 oils w...

The fat body is the main storage and intermediary metabolism organ of insects and is responsible for the synthesis and supply of haemolymph substances. It consists of a mass of cells located underneath the epidermis and, in some insects, the fat body also surrounds the digestive and reproductive organs (reviewed by Haunerland & Shirk 1995 and Roma et al. 2010). Fat body cells, known as trophocy...

About 1 million people in the world die each year from diseases spread by mosquitoes, and understanding the mechanism of host identification by the mosquitoes through olfaction is at stake. The role of odorant binding proteins (OBPs) in the primary molecular events of olfaction in mosquitoes is becoming an important focus of biological research in this area. Here, we present a comprehensive com...
